Welcome to STLL. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the STLL Studios LLC’s mobile application, website, content, features, subscriptions, and related services. By creating an account, downloading the app, accessing the website, or using STLL in any way, you agree to these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree, you should not use STLL.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using STLL, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you are using STLL on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.

2. What STLL Is and Is Not

STLL is a devotional and spiritual encouragement app designed to help users pause, reflect, pray, engage with Scripture, and build rhythms of faith.

STLL may include features such as Scripture passages, affirmations, devotional reflections, prayer requests, praise entries, memory verses, reminders, and other spiritually encouraging content.

STLL is not a church, pastoral counseling service, therapy service, emergency service, crisis hotline, medical service, legal service, or financial advisory service. The content provided through STLL is for devotional, educational, and personal reflection purposes only.

STLL is intended to encourage your spiritual life, but it does not replace Scripture study, prayer, Christian community, pastoral care, counseling, medical care, or other professional support when needed.

3. Account Creation and Responsibilities

To use certain features of STLL, you may be required to create an account and provide information such as your name, email address, login credentials, preferences, or other information.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account information updated.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

You may not create an account using another person’s information, impersonate another person, or use STLL in a way that misrepresents your identity.

4. User Generated Content

STLL Studios LLC may allow you to create, save, or submit personal content, including prayer requests, praise entries, reflections, notes, or other materials entered by you within the app. This is referred to in these Terms as “User Content.”

You retain ownership of the User Content you create. STLL Studios LLC does not claim ownership of your prayers, praises, journal entries, or personal reflections.

By entering User Content into STLL Studios LLC, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, display, back up, and otherwise use your User Content solely as needed to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the app and provide the services to you.

We do not sell your User Content. We do not make your private prayer requests, praise entries, or reflections public as part of STLL Studios LLC’s service.

You are responsible for the User Content you submit. You agree not to enter or upload content that is unlawful, abusive, defamatory, threatening, invasive of another person’s privacy, or otherwise violates these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design, branding, features, software, graphics, text, devotional materials, affirmations, reflections, interface elements, and other materials provided by STLL Studios LLC, excluding User Content and licensed third-party content, are owned by STLL Studios LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may use STLL Studios LLC and its content for your personal, non-commercial devotional use only. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, lease, sublicense, publicly display, create derivative works from, or exploit any part of STLL without our prior written permission.

The STLL Studios LLC name, logo, branding, and related marks may not be used without written permission.

6. NLT Scripture Usage

STLL Studios LLC may include Scripture quotations from the Holy Bible, New Living Translation, subject to permission or license from Tyndale House Publishers and/or the applicable rights holder.

Scripture content made available within STLL Studios LLC is provided for personal devotional use within the app. You may not copy, reproduce, export, scrape, redistribute, publish, sell, or otherwise use NLT Scripture content outside the app except as permitted by applicable law, the rights holder’s usage guidelines, or a separate written license.

All NLT Scripture content remains the property of its respective copyright holder. STLL Studios LLC’s use of NLT Scripture does not transfer any rights in the NLT text to you.

Required copyright notices for NLT Scripture will be provided within the app, website, or other appropriate locations as required by STLL Studios LLC’s licensing terms.

7. Subscription and Payment Terms

STLL Studios LLC may currently be offered for free, but we may offer paid features, premium content, subscription plans, free trials, promotional offers, or in-app purchases in the future.

If you purchase a paid subscription or other paid feature, you agree to pay all applicable fees, taxes, and charges associated with your purchase.

Subscriptions may be managed through third-party platforms or payment providers, including Apple, RevenueCat, or other authorized services. Your purchase may also be subject to the payment terms, subscription terms, refund policies, and cancellation rules of the platform through which you subscribe.

STLL Studios LLC uses Supabase for secure data storage and authentication services.

If subscriptions are offered through the Apple App Store, they may automatically renew unless canceled according to Apple’s subscription cancellation process. You are responsible for managing or canceling your subscription through your Apple account or applicable platform settings.

Unless otherwise stated, subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law or by the applicable app store or payment provider’s policies.

We may change subscription pricing, features, billing periods, trial availability, or included content from time to time. Any changes will be handled in accordance with applicable law and platform requirements.

Failure to complete payment or renewal may result in limited access to paid features.

These Terms incorporate Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement where applicable. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA will govern with respect to Apple platform usage.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use STLL Studios LLC’s app to:

• Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right

• Harass, threaten, abuse, exploit, or harm another person

• Upload or transmit unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or otherwise harmful content

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to STLL Studios LLC, user accounts, servers, or systems

• Interfere with or disrupt the security, performance, or operation of STLL Studios LLC

• Reverse engineer, decompile, copy, scrape, or extract data from STLL Studios LLC

• Use STLL Studios LLC or its content for commercial purposes without written permission

• Redistribute STLL Studios LLC content, including licensed Scripture content, without authorization

• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

• Use STLL Studios LLC in connection with spam, malware, bots, automated scraping, or other abusive activity

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action if we believe these Terms have been violated.

9. Disclaimers

STLL is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties or representations that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times.

While we aim to provide content that is thoughtful, biblically faithful, and spiritually encouraging, STLL Studios LLC does not guarantee any particular spiritual, emotional, relational, financial, medical, or personal outcome.

Your use of STLL is not a substitute for prayer, Scripture, pastoral guidance, professional counseling, medical care, legal advice, financial advice, or emergency services.

If you are experiencing a crisis, emergency, or thoughts of harming yourself or others, you should contact emergency services or a qualified crisis support provider immediately.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, STLL Studios LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, STLL Studios LLC, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, licensors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, emotional distress, spiritual disappointment, service interruptions, or unauthorized access to your account or content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of STLL will not exceed the greater of:

1. The amount you paid to STLL Studios LLC for the service during the three months before the claim arose; or

2. One hundred dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

11. Termination of Accounts

You may stop using STLL Studios LLC at any time. You may also request account deletion by contacting us using the contact information below or through any account deletion tools available in the app.

We may suspend or terminate your account, restrict access, or remove content if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for STLL Studios LLC or other users, failed to pay applicable fees, or used the service in a harmful or unlawful way.

Upon termination, your right to use STLL will end immediately. Certain sections of these Terms will continue to apply after termination, including provisions related to intellectual property, user content, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law, and any payment obligations incurred before termination.

12. Changes to STLL

We may modify, update, suspend, discontinue, or remove features, content, or portions of STLL Studios LLC at any time. We may also add new features, revise existing features, or change how certain content or subscriptions are offered.

We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service or any part of it.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the app, website, email, or other reasonable means.

Your continued use of STLL Studios LLC after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using STLL.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of STLL Studios LLC will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
